Rip off the mask, tear down the walls. Show the world your beautiful self!

About Sheri Conaway

After working as an accountant for more years than I care to admit, I finally came to the realization that I wasn’t following my passion, even though I made a decent living at what I was doing.

It was through the combined synchronicity of the healing class I was taking and a brain dump I found which I’d written nearly twenty years ago that my true path finally slapped me in the face.

Like anything worth having, this path has certainly proved challenging, and is taking awhile to turn into something meaningful,  (much less, financially rewarding) but despite knowing I was venturing into the unknown, I took a gigantic leap of faith, quit my day job and turned my attention towards all things writing.

In addition to a couple of books I’d started over the years, I took two NaNoWriMo challenges,  in November of 2013 and November of 2014 and wrote the first 50,000 words of two novels.  One is currently in the editing stages while the others awaits completion of the first draft.

So welcome to my newest place on the web where I chronicle the challenges, dance to keep myself sane and view the world through newly opened eyes.  I hope you’ll be entertained, given reason to think, and maybe, on occasion, emotionally charged.
